About us: This is the story of our journey through music

An&mone is a duo made up of two close friends Teddy and Benjamin (or An and Mone...), whose music bounces from House to Electro Pop with tints of Jazz and Rock influences.

The duo was created in 2019 although we had already started mixing and playing music together since 2018 when we met in grad school. After some time we finally decided to make our music a bit more public, by releasing our first single Spaceship in May 2020, where our electronica, pop and jazz influences came together as one piece.

Our common music taste for the likes of Bent, Chaos In The CBD, Crazy P, Elder Island, Caribou, Fakear, Jimmy Whoo, 1-800 GIRLS, Parcels and many others united us and inspire us in our music creation.

Believe it or not sea anemones are one of our sources of inspiration for our homemade art and visuals (our cover art and collages), which gives it the dreamy and sur-natural feel that An&mone conveys. We always include a little easter egg of an Anemone in each of artworks which we create ourselves (have you noticed?). We got our name from a trip to Scotland where we were mesmerized by the color, the shape and the ondulation of red sea anemones. So yep you guessed it, that's our logo!
